The Neponset Valley Sunrise Rotary Club is proud of the successful conclusion of its Comedy Night fundraiser held last month at the American Legion in Dedham. The event brought together community members for an evening of premier entertainment, resulting in significant proceeds that will be directed toward various non-profit organizations.

The event brought together community members for an evening of premier entertainment, resulting in significant proceeds that will be directed toward various non-profit organizations.
The evening was headlined by OneLocal, the event’s Platinum and Presenting Sponsor, whose leadership support was instrumental in bringing the night to fruition. Their contribution anchored a community-wide effort to feature a high-caliber comedic lineup including Tony V., Jimmy Cash, and Jessica Casciano.
The Club partnered with SarahKate Sullivan, who facilitated the scheduling of the comics.
The success of the fundraiser was made possible through the generous contributions of several local businesses and individuals. Their commitment ensures that the Club can continue to fund critical service projects throughout the year.

The event emphasized a community-first approach. Attendees enjoyed a social atmosphere where they were encouraged to bring their own food and snacks, complemented by a full-service cash bar provided by the venue.
Beyond the performances, the night featured raffles and a variety of curated gift baskets. The generosity of local businesses and individual donors was on full display, with every dollar raised contributing to the club’s philanthropic mission.
The funds raised during the event are earmarked for the Club’s ongoing charitable efforts. These proceeds allow the organization to provide critical support throughout the year.

The Neponset Valley Sunrise Rotary Club consists of dedicated individuals from the ten communities that comprise the Neponset River Valley area. They are committed to improving the lives of people throughout the world and within local communities. The Club works to raise funds needed to support both local charities and the worldwide efforts of Rotary International.
