Dedicated members of the Neponset Valley Sunrise Rotary Club recently demonstrated their commitment to community service and the environment by actively participating in the 2025 Neponset River Fall Cleanup. The club successfully focused its efforts on the areas surrounding Alevizos Park and Ellis Pond in Norwood, removing significant amounts of trash and debris from the riverbanks and surrounding parkland.
The Neponset Valley Sunrise Rotary Club is excited to announce the induction of Bob Blood as its new Club President. In an inspiring ceremony last month, Bob officially took his oath of office, administered with warmth and pride by Rotary Assistant Governor Jack Colamaria.
The 23rd annual Neponset Valley Sunrise Rotary Club's duck race was a smashing success! We finally broke the spell of rainy Saturdays, enjoying a stellar day on the field filled with sunshine, smiles, and plenty of games ashore. Our ducks were enthusiastically dumped into the Charles River by a front-end loader and quickly raced downstream, though they eventually decided to just float and enjoy the scenery!
