The Neponset Valley Sunrise Rotary Club recently gathered at Blue Hills Regional Technical School in Canton to continue its proud tradition of championing local youth. The ceremony was a celebration of student achievement and a meaningful tribute to the lasting impact of community service.

President Bob Blood led the presentation, highlighting the Club’s dedication to providing both recognition and resources to students as they prepare to enter the professional workforce or pursue higher education.

The Neponset Valley Sunrise Rotary Club is inviting the community to a day of family-friendly fun, philanthropy, and friendly competition at its annual Duck Race on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Marie-Louise Kehoe (Riverdale) Park.

The event will feature a lively mix of music, food, entertainment, and the signature Duck Race, where participants can cheer on their adopted rubber ducks as they race along the Charles River. Proceeds from the event will directly support local and global charitable initiatives championed by the Rotary Club.

What started as a call to clear out old electronics turned into a strong show of community support, as the Neponset Valley Sunrise Rotary Club’s Electronics Recycling Day in April drew a stream of residents throughout the morning.

Held in partnership with the Town of Dedham and Complete Recycling Solutions, the event provided a convenient and responsible way for community members to dispose of unwanted electronic devices. From outdated monitors to long-forgotten cables and aging laptops, residents arrived ready to declutter—and they delivered.
If your home office is starting to look more like a technology museum than a workspace, help is on the way! The Neponset Valley Sunrise Rotary Club is proud to announce its upcoming Electronics Recycling Day, held in partnership with the Town of Dedham and Complete Recycling Solutions.

The event will take place on Saturday, April 25, from 8:00 AM to Noon in the Dedham Middle School Parking Lot.
The Neponset Valley Sunrise Rotary Club (NVSRC) is proving that when “people of action” come together, the impact is felt both across the street and around the world.

Do you know someone in the Dedham/Norwood area who would make a fantastic Rotarian? The NVSRC is hosting a Guest Day and extending a warm invitation to the community. It is the perfect opportunity to connect with neighbors, friends, and leaders who are solving problems every day.
